Wow.. i spent almost my whole day sitting in front of the computer to read and learn.
I've been reading a lot today about How to make money from internet.
Some of the Informations are really inspirational and motivating, some of them put me into doubt about the question of " will i be able to do this?"..
Well, such question is what i have to work hard for in order to achieve my goal.
Learning was another thing i did today...
sigh, wordpress and joomla cms gave me headache..
But i feel good though because i learn a lot today, which can be counted as a make up for the next day because i have to work..
Learning and Reading are how people do in order to increase their quality level in this competitive world

Helping people
Today, i went to my friend's apartment and i bought Döner for my dinner when i was on my way..
when i was inside the shop, two people came in, one was chinese and one was like a middle east man.
They asked for direction on how to go to Spa or swimming pool.. The Chinese shot his question "Do you know where can i find a spa? and how do i go there?"
but the man, who worked in the shop did not understand what they were saying..
all he got was only the word Spa so he said "carolus thermen" (Carolus Thermen is a relaxing place, wherein there is a spa, swimming pool, jacuzzi, etc)..
the chinese said "where to go? that way?"
shopkeeper said "ja ja..." (yes yes)
so i took the initiative to ask them and interrupted the conversation " do you want to go to spa?"
the chinese and his friend said "yes"
I replied "oh then you have to take a bus from a bus stop nearby to get to the main station in order to transfer to another bus numbere either 51 or 34, and you get down at a bus stop named carolus thermen"
the chinese : "what? how to spell "carolus thermen?"
then i answered his question..
then they thanked me and went out.
I paid for my Döner then left the shop, eventually i met them again , there were actually four of them, one girl and three men..
The girl was looking at a map, the chinese called me and asked me again about the direction and showed the map to me..
my heart whispered "oh my God, i suck at reading map"
So i circled the map " we are here, now you have to go here (again i circled the area with my finger), and then take a bus to go here, the carolus thermen (i circled the area once more)"
they were confused...
i thought i spoke singlish haha.. then the chinese asked me " you speak mandarin"
"yes" i told him.. He then spoke mandarin, which there of his friend did not understand...
i explained it all over again then he finally understood it..
the chinese was eventually a Singaporean, at that time he thought i was as well a Singaporean but i said i am Indonesian
after appreciating my help they left.. when i was on my way, i thought "is my English hard to comprehend?" ...
well, yah yah.. the most important is that i could help them..
therefore i felt a relief and had a feeling of satisfaction after helping them..
even thought it is only a small case..
You will eventually get new spirit of life when your action of helping people materialized

Encountered pigeons
"One of A Kind" pigeons, probaby in Europe but especially in Germany..
Fat, lazy, and brave are they...
When i saw them at the first time, i was shocked indeed... they are extremely fat, unlike what i saw in my homeland...
Well then i wanted to try to scare them... I did stomp my foot at the speed of light, which produced quite a loud sound, heyyyy.... they would not fly, one of them, which was very close to me, even made a manoeuvre avoiding my foot then it continued to seek its food..
well, i thought at that time, if they did that in my homeland, they would end up in the stomach..
i think they, the pigeons, know that there is a rule, which forbids the human to catch or harm particular animals in Germany..
it is very rare to see them fly unless there is a big threat or they want to move in order to look for foods...
and they would rather walk than fly..

Having received letter from The FH-Aachen
Today i received a letter from the FH (Fachhochschule, which in English people know as poly or university of applied science)..
well too bad, I did not get what i chose as primary selection which is Informatic, instead I obtained the admission to the second choice, Mechanthronic.. well, still I am very grateful for that because people said that Informatic is seriously difficult to study... (i am very very lazy, LoL)
I am currently studying Architecture in TH (Technische Hochschule, which in English people call it University of technological science), i terminated it because the schedule is very tight, which is very inconvenience for me to work parallelly... that is why i applied for the FH..
And now i have to face the complicated bureaucracy, well this will surely give me headache..
Then now i will have to reschedule my plan in order to reregister according to the letter..
Anyway I would still confront this bureaucracy once my study starts and the worst thing is i have again to write in German and listen to the Professors, who tend to speak fast...
Haha...
Somehow, it is what i have to encounter before achieving something big..
Stay optimist and 加油

Sentiment towards Men??
Great day, FRIDAY.... well, weekend but what do i do?
It's a bit sad.. Tiresome and boredom are my only two best friends..
Today i saw a printed paper on an announcement board beside the small kitchen in the office I worked..
it says (in German)
Männer : macht Kaffee
Männer : macht Essen
Männer : macht sauber
Männer : macht uns nicht böse
it is a bit hilarious to translate it but i have to do it anyway, it means:
Men : make coffee
Men : make food
Men : make clean ( literally)
Men : don't make us angry
Well, seems like those men in that office do not clean frequently after using the kitchen...
but it is a cliché though if it refers to all men.. because i am the one who cleans that office and in fact i am a man..
as a matter of fact there is some women who do not even know how to clean or rather be neat (women, do not mad at me please... )
Refreshing my memory when i was on my vacation in Singapore, i rent a room in an apartment's flat at that time, so there was three rooms in that flat..
The other two rooms occupied by one British guy and a couple respectively...
the couple was eventually also British.. those two is the one i want to highlight....
It was dinner time when i decided to make my dinner instead of eating outside, i saw the guy, who was cooking at that time on the other hand the girl sat on the sofa reading her novel and waited for her boyfriend to finish...
i, as well, waited for him to finish because we shared the kitchen... after he finished, they ate and i cooked my dinner...
save all the words, finally they finished and guess what? the guy washed all the dishes and the girl sat there did the same thing as before, waiting for him and still, read her novel..
the next day, when i was eating at home, the guy came in to bring a bottle of wine and two glasses then he went out.., he only wore a swim suit so i presumed they were going to enjoy the wine while swimming..
when they came home, i saw the girl was dry and the girl wore casual clothes so i was sure she did not swim, the guy did. However, the girl entered directly to her room while the guy went to the kitchen to wash the glasses...
Everytime they had things to do, it was the guy, who did it..
washing and hanging their laundries, making foods, washing dishes, cleaning the table, and so on..
In that particular time, what the girl did was only relaxing...
hehe.. what actually happens here? haha...
is the guy stupid? or does he love her too much?
is the girl outwitting the guy? or is she only lazy?
it is only they, who can answer it...
But hey Women, we, men, can actually clean and be neat...

My Job
Having been working allllll day long, which made me so exhausted..
i finally decide to reveal what i do to earn money (well haha.. reveal?? good word?)....
Let me elaborate first why i do have to work while studying.. well, this is a simple and short elaboration ---> because i do not ask money from my parents no more.
Bunch of my friends said that i am so great, because i can earn my living and finance my study independently...
well, it makes me proud partially, and another part of me feels that my friends are seriously very lucky to have parents financing them.. Envious overwhelms me when i think of that..
I work at a Reinigungsfirma (that is the German, somehow i feel weird if i translate it to English, or may be i just do not know the appropriate word for it, it means Cleaning Service firm)...
Yes i do cleaning, the job is various.. from cleaning office, taking part in carpet service, to killing useless plants ( i did that this morning, which made me like over roasted pork.. BLACK only BLACK)..
Hey they are just some of what i do...
perhaps next time if i have a camera with me while i am working (considering whether i want to use the 0,3 megapixel camera of my celular phone) , i will try to freeze the moment in the form of file hahaha... to make it easy "take picture"...
I have to take a break now and start closing my eyes to enjoy sweet dream..
cya..

Guten Tag, Deutschland (part 2)
Well, i am back again with stuff about Germany..
In the previous chapter i have explained what the title means, refresh your mind here.
I have to straighten up a abit about what i had explained previously, some places are not so quiet..
places like Düsseldorf, München, Frankfurt, etc..
but if you come from Asia, you might say it is quiet, because according to Asian standart.. how can i say, it is just unacceptable to call it crowded..
of course excluding in some occasions..
Regardless the quietness, i have to say i am stunned with the attitude of the people here..
Extremely Friendly, Ok! let's be realistic, stop thinking about everyone being friendly, what i mean in this case is generally, how can i specify friendly?? Hm.. shall i begin with questions?
will you expect a bus driver, who you do not even know, greeting you "hallo" or saying good morning to you when you step in the bus?
will you ever expect one person you barely know, whom you just have a simple conversation (like when you ask direction, etc) with, telling you have a nice weekend?
will you expect a cashier saying Thank you very much, when you finished your payment and she/he adds enjoy your meal?
those two are just a small part of the daily socialization.. there is more of it...
It was exceptional for me, slowly i learned how to greet people, throw smiles, and so on..
that happens rarely in Asia..
frankly speaking; we, in Asia , are more self-conceited.. well, it is not that Asian people are not friendly, it is just the way Asian people respond to people is different...
perhaps, the standart of friendly is definitively different..
Helping people, so this is in general as well, but this is more often to see here rather than in Asia..
When you see a handicapped man, who sits on a wheel chair, wants to board the bus, what would you do? your heart feels that you might help but "ah.. let see if someone helps"...
what i experienced here is that when you are just about to offer help to that man, other passangers must have already helped him board the bus..
Well, i, when i was just arriving here, would think like this when that case happened "well see if someone helps, there have to be someone", but i did not even walk one step towards that man...
i dont know if it is just me or the Asian constructed mind generally tends to be like that.. well i hope it is just me..
There was a time (it happened in Asia, but i dont want to specify where.. ;p) when i saw an old guy trying to lift an office chair while walking down the steps... i was still probably100 metres away from him, people passed by but no one even offered help well.. (it was when i was already living here for one year)..
that is right i was the one who stepped out to offer him help..
guess what? unexpectedly you wouldn't believe it... he yelled at me (LoL); "i can do it myself, (he tried to step down one step to show me while carrying the chair).. See... i can"..
Oh my God, i swear to God, I was so embarrassed as everyone looked at me..., but i do not regret it as long as it is not against my conscience..
is this the reason why the passers by did not want to help? or they knew him ( perhaps he was crazy or a like-to-yell-old-guy or having some sort of behaviour), so that they did not want to be so nosy, minding people's business...
well in my perspective, it is not that i am judgemental, it is not about him, the old guy.. it is about the spotanious thought of being the first to offer help.
Opss.. sorry for travelling to Asia briefly, i am running out of the topic line..
but that is just a comparison...
So back to Germany, what i like is the air, which is fresh and low contaminated..
well, influenced by the circumstance here, your mind state will be different, you will feel more relax even if you are actually not..
In Asia you will feel hectic, even if you are relaxing..
circumstance or rather situation does drown you along physcologically..
ok enough until here.. i think i will continue next time about what is the bad thing about the people here.. :p
actually there was more i thought about but i just could not remember it, next time i have to jot it down...

~Stechrochen~
Stechrochen ~ Stingray

Was ist los damit?

Thinking? or Lamenting?
often It happens in the shower. I catch a glimpse of myself in the bathroom mirror and unexpectedly spot the trepass of time. I see how my growing self plays on me, sometimes I feel blue thinking about how many years left in my life instead of how old i am..
often as well out of the blue, i feel motivated to move forward to success and whisper " there is no time to play around because i live only shortly in this mother earth". Whenever this feeling occurs, with no doubt it changes the way I lead my life by setting up goals, which i want to accomplish during my life.
often it is i am melted into the brief joy that can possibly drive myself to forget about the goals i have set up.
Beyond the shadow of doubt i refuse to step out of this comfort zone. consciously or subconsciously i often let my eyes blurred to view the motivational "change".
often i learn about what has let me down and swear not to repeat it again or to let that happens to me for the second time, yet still i slip often on the same spot.
time is cruel; it never waits, but it heals, I choose often to forget the unhappiness that happened in my life, i did fail but time did help me magically.

Study in Germany
As the description in the blog explains I decide to offer help to those, who want to study in Germany..
well, I will help as much as i could by sharing the informations with you and giving some advices if needed..
I, perhaps, could provide this help better to those, who are coming here from Indonesia because, of course, I come from there as well so i may know the procedure.
cheers,
Arif

Döner
I bet it is hard to find this food in Asia especially in Indonesia (my homeland), Singapore, and Malaysia ( i said it is hard to find, it doesn't mean there isn't any)..
I mention only Singapore and Malaysia because those are only countries in Asia i had ever visited (pathetic???).
Well, Döner is one great food from Turkish kitchen.
This kind of food is very popular in Germany. It has been like an unstoppable fungus in these recent years as the döner shops grow faster than the local food restaurant.
It looks like this before it is sliced. Normally this seasoned meat is made from either chicken or lamb. this stack is usually made by a company and will be delivered to the sellers.
this stack of meat is cooked by radiant heat from a heater. it will spin to make sure every surface of this meat remains hot before it is sliced.
there are two methods of slicing this meat :
first is by using a very long sharp knife;
second is by using an electric knife, which seems to me like a hair shaver.
They serve it in many ways but there are three most popular döners, two of them are :
&
as you can see the left one is called döner kebab and the right one is named durum döner.
As far as i can spot they contain tomatoes, onion, cucumber, tzatziki (a white sauce), and green chopped vegetable ( i don't know the name of the vegetable LoL)
the third one is they serve it without the bread and the white wrappings, instead the sliced meat is served on a plate with french fries and tzatziki, it is called Döner Teller in German.
(Teller means plate).
hm... this food is always a choice if i don't know what to eat...
hahaha....

It looks like this before it is sliced. Normally this seasoned meat is made from either chicken or lamb. this stack is usually made by a company and will be delivered to the sellers.this stack of meat is cooked by radiant heat from a heater. it will spin to make sure every surface of this meat remains hot before it is sliced.
there are two methods of slicing this meat :
first is by using a very long sharp knife;
second is by using an electric knife, which seems to me like a hair shaver.
(Teller means plate).
hm... this food is always a choice if i don't know what to eat...
hahaha....
I have to cook myself
CooKing!! Arrrghhhh....
It was hell since i arrived in Germany, i have to cook myself..
can you imagine it? at that time i only knew how to cook an instant noodle, it is not even considered cooking... ( "make" an instant noodle it should be).
i was pampered everytime when i was in my hometown, the meal would be ready on time when it's meal time.
I hated vegetable the most, i only ate meat (carnivore).., even Peter Parker (spiderman) could not drag me into eating vegetable when he encouraged two kids after jumping from his motorcycle to avoid the truck...
Hey... but Deutschland (Germany) has the power to change me into a man who loves eating vegetable...
This is the second vegetable i hated the most at that time, bitter melon.
But now it seems delicious to me. It is, therefore, i learn how to cook them in many ways.
People said that when you donot know about how bitter this life is you wouldn't like to eat bitter melon. (i guess they were just kidding)
this journey has given me a new thing to learn, which i will keep learning because i begin to like cooking since i know the "how to".
perhaps, sometimes i can post about "cooking" in this blog of mine.

Yeahh i change after coming here but please don't offer me tomato, i hate it until now.. (no offence to tomato lovers)

Guten Tag, Deutschland (part 1)
Firstly, i think it is wise to explain what that title means, it means " Good day, Germany".
Secondly, it is only random title that i choose, though it relfects what i am about to write.
It has been 2 and a half years since i come here. Initially i thought it would be fun and challenging flying to Germany to study. What a twist of fate!! it makes my life more difficult since i have to work and finance myself...
NO FUN AT ALL although it could be challenging sometimes..
The process i went through learning the language, Deutsch (German) and struggling in order to get the Visa were not as easy job as flipping my hand.
even though it is no fun at all here, still i have to thank myself of makin this decision, which is good because this journey changes me a lot.
how do i change? i do not know about that myself. only other can judge that.
Yes, i know i do change after my friend told me, one of which i know that i am not as rude as i was before. Chinese will say " 开 口 伤 人" which means when i open my mouth i will hurt people.
enough about myself, what i can say about Germany is um... i might say it is too quiet especially in my town, Aachen....
Saturday and Sunday are two most quiet days ever, which i never ever experience in my life, unless if those two days are in December and January. Well other might say otherwise, the reason is i go out rarely (LOL)..
The "wow" thing is the tax, which has climbed up to 19 percent, yeah there are some countries i dont know, which apply higher tax..
Up until here i cannot write no more... if i come up with anything i want to write about Germany, i will post it in the upcoming part...
my brain is blocked now...
LoL

Wow... it is harder than i thought in building a good blog..
i am not a good writer nor a thinker, some people can come up with bunch of ideas what to post but after thinking for days still there is no inspiration comes into my mind..
So it has been days after reading the book "secrets of internet millionaires".
The Informations overwhelmed me, most of which i do not really comprehend, which is why i procrastinate a lot...
Fyuh... at first i was not sure whether i would continue my effort in internet marketing, but after consulting with an expert (thanks connie), she encourages me to keep on going by giving me advices, and also with the help of the forum, i will strive to learn.
I was kinda skeptical before as a beginner and still i am one...
i've been reading through other's blog to look for some inspirations, which i will continue doing so.
still a lonnnngggg way to go ....
have to jia you...

It's ME
Ok!! It is a bit selfish as i put the "ME" in capital, isn't it?
Anyway, it is only an expression..
Now to the point, Arif is my first name as it is followed by an absurd word "Kosasi" (yap, bunch of my Indonesian friends asked me "why is there no "h" behind it?")
LEt's move on to what i do, WHAT then?
i am a student, i study in Aachen,a small town in Germany ( Do not bother search it in your Atlas, it is not even a dot)
Because this is the beginning, this is what i can say so far...
Perhaps, when i go further in developing my Blog, all of my postings will suffice to reflect myself.
Cheers,
Arif
